Yoga Teacher. Bon Vivant. Raconteur.
Yoga is not something that came easily to me. I was very busy in my twenties working in the music industry, partying with rock stars and running from my pain. I always knew I wanted more but I wasn’t sure what that even meant or where I could possibly find it.
When yoga finally caught up with me in 2007 during a magical month spent on Koh Pha Ngan I fell in love. Hard. I practiced my little heart out every day and the more I learnt the more I wanted to know. So I did two teacher trainings, a 500 hour apprenticeship in the Jivamukti style, and became an advanced certified teacher in 2011.
As I studied and practiced and changed and grew, I realised that while I dig yoga asana it’s yoga philosophy that rocks my socks. The idea that yoga allows us to access levels of consciousness we can use to liberate ourselves from our pain, our doubt, our fear and everything else that holds us back is so incredibly exciting to me. And I am passionate about helping people use their practice to heal and find peace and freedom in their lives.
I am so thankful to all the amazing teachers who have come before and passed these teachings down to us. I look forward to sharing these teachings with you. See you on the mat.
